ESADE offers the participants on its programmes the possibility of obtaining grants and financing. All candidates with the appropriate profile can thus study at ESADE irrespective of their economic resources.
These are the three kinds of grants and financing offered by ESADE:
1.- ESADE Foundation grants programme
Each year the ESADE Foundation awards grants to finance the studies of all those candidates who, motivated to study in ESADE and with academic excellence, do not have sufficient economic resources.
These grants will be processed once the candidate, having fulfilled the access requirements and successfully passed the admission process, has been admitted as a student to any of the university courses offered by ESADE: Combined Undergraduate & Master in Management Programme and Combined Undergraduate & Master in Law Programme.
There are two types of ESADE grant:
- Registration compensation grant (Honour Loans):
These grants cover a minimum 50%, and a maximum 75%, of the educational fees during each of the first three years of the course. The grant is awarded for one academic year and will be renewed, at the most until the third year, provided that the year is successfully completed and that the situation of economic need that gave rise to the award is maintained. During the 4th and 5th years, the student can apply for a study loan interest compensation grant.
To apply for this grant it is necessary to demonstrate brilliant academic results and an impossibility to finance the course. For the beneficiaries this aid involves a moral commitment to repay this amount to ESADE's Grants Fund once they join the labour market, without interest or updating and over the period in which they can. This is why the name "Honour Loans" is used.
- Loan interest compensation grant
This type of grant covers the interest on a study loan processed in any of the financial institutions with which ESADE has a collaboration agreement. The beneficiary of this grant must pay the interest, which will subsequently be reimbursed by ESADE.
This system of aid can be applied for by students who, with a normal academic performance, can demonstrate economic difficulties to confront the payment of this interest.
For further information on the grants of the ESADE Foundation, contact the Admissions department of the programme that you wish to follow.
2.- Financing: ESADE study loans
ESADE has established an agreement with several banking institutions, thanks to which the students on any long programme (Undergraduate Degrees, Master's Degrees or programmes lasting around 100 hours or more) can apply for loans under special conditions for the whole of their period of studies. For further information on financial aid, contact the Admissions department of the programme that you wish to follow.
3.- Grants offered by other companies or institutions
The participants on ESADE's programmes can consult the study or research grants and the internship agreements that various companies and official organizations periodically convene in ESADE's Career Services.
